Fijiana team arives in positive spirits ahead of Vancouver 7s

The Fijiana team has arrived in Vancouver in high spirits, with the cold weather not affecting their preparations.

Head Coach Richie Walker shared with fijivillage News that the team has already completed two training sessions, along with a scrimmage match against the New Zealand players.

Walker says the session was valuable, as New Zealand is one of the strongest and most physical teams in the series, and the players needed that level of preparation ahead of the tournament.

He also confirmed that the squad is injury-free and excited to compete.

The Fijiana side will face Australia in their opening match at 9:31am tomorrow.

They will then take on the United States at 12:57pm before playing Canada at 4:46pm in their final pool game.
