The Judicial Services Commission has advertised the position of Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption Commissioner.
Lavi Rokoika was appointed Acting FICAC Commissioner on 29th May 2025, following Barbara Malimali’s dismissal.
The appointment was made by President Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu on the recommendation of the Prime Minister.
Under Section 5(1) of the FICAC Act 2007, the Commissioner is appointed by the President on the recommendation of the Judicial Services Commission, following consultation by the Judicial Services Commission with the Attorney-General.
Applications for the position of FICAC Commissioner close on 24th July.
