The Suva High Court has refused an application by Imran Khan, also known as King Khan, to vacate his guilty plea on one count of contravening a restraining order.
High Court Judge Justice Thushara Rajasinghe delivered the ruling today, saying there was no reason to allow the change of plea.
He said Khan understood the consequences of his guilty plea.
Justice Rajasinghe said Khan was given two hours to go through the summary of facts with his lawyer.
He also said Khan had admitted to the summary of facts.
Defence lawyer Shayal Kant filed the mitigation submission in court today.
The 40-year-old is charged with transferring a vehicle that was subject to a High Court restraining order to his brother.
The restraining order also covered a $400,000 property, cash held at a local bank, and four vehicles.
Following the ruling, the matter was adjourned for sentencing on July 14th.
