BATI and RATU rums win 11 medals at 2026 London Spirits Competition

BATI and RATU rums win 11 medals at 2026 London Spirits Competition
International award-winning rums from the Rum Co. of Fiji range, BATI and RATU, have achieved another significant achievement, securing eleven medals at the 2026 London Spirits Competition.

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Fiji Head of Marketing–Alcohol, Etrina Simpson says the results reflect both consistency and evolution across the portfolio.

Simpson says building on more than 270 international awards earned before 2026, winning eleven medals at this level reinforces the strength and quality behind everything they produce.

She says that recognition across both BATI and RATU, from accessible liqueurs to premium aged rums, highlights their ability to meet diverse tastes while maintaining consistently high standards.

She adds that it also reflects the growing global appreciation for Fijian rum, not just for individual products but for Fiji as a premium origin.

Simpson says Bounty Rum has been part of the South Pacific story since 1983, and for many, it is far more than a spirit — it is the Spirit of the South Pacific.

She says what sets Bounty apart is its ability to carry that legacy forward while continuing to compete and win on the global stage, having done so 51 times.

She says these awards reinforce that their legacy is not static; it continues to evolve, proving that a brand deeply rooted in heritage can still lead with relevance, quality and global recognition.

Judged by more than 70 international industry experts, the London Spirits Competition evaluates entries based on quality, value and packaging, reflecting the criteria that matter most to today’s consumers and trade buyers.

At the 2026 competition, BATI and RATU featured prominently across all medal categories, with Bounty achieving a silver medal for Bounty Fiji Overproof Premium Dark Rum and a bronze medal for Bounty Fiji Premium White Rum.
