About 14 youths from the Fiji Youth for Democracy have presented their petition containing 165 signatures to the Prime Minister's office.
Spokesperson, Mereoni Chung said they want the Yash Ghai Commission draft constitution to be re-instated for public discussions.
Chung said they are expecting more signatures.
When asked on the petition, Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said these petitions will be put together with all the submissions from members of the public.
Fijivillage then questioned Sayed-Khaiyum how this will be handled as Prime Minister, Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama has made it clear that the Yash Ghai Commission draft constitution will not come back.
Meanwhile the Fijian Teachers Association said they do not support the draft constitution totally and yesterday presented a list of submissions to the Solicitor General's office.
FTA's General Secretary, Maika Namudu said amendments have to be made to the current draft.
Public submissions on the draft ended yesterday and Sayed-Khaiyum said they will now analyze all the submissions and decide on any amendments.
