Work yet to start on proposed new casino
Work is yet to start on the proposed new casino by One Hundred Sands Limited.

A digger has been parked at the site for weeks.

Only the fencing and a big signboard has been put up at the site with nothing happening at the location just outside Denarau.

Fijivillage spoke to Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum on the issue as the deadline for the $290 million casino resort is October 1st this year.

Sayed-Khaiyum said the US$100,000 per month penalty for One Hundred Sand Limited will start from 1st October as they had to start off the casino resort by that date.
