A 50-year-old man is in police custody following the death of a 33-year-old receptionist last night.
The man allegedly stabbed his defacto wife at their rented apartment in Suva after an argument.
Police spokesperson, Josaia Weicavu says the 33-year-old woman was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police are treating the case as murder.
Investigations continue.
