Wife shares grief over missing man
"I miss him a lot."

These are the words of the wife of the 49-year-old man Matavuso Kotobalavu who is missing in the Lomaiviti waters since Thursday night.

Sioli Kotobalavu told fijivillage that her family still cannot believe what has happened.

Kotobalavu said they are so used to Matavuso going out for long trips but they just cannot grasp the news that he may not be coming  home.

According to Sioli, she had been in contact with her husband during his trip but could not reach him on Thursday.

She said when she received the news she told her daughter and son.

Sioli said they will hold a memorial service this Saturday at the Jubilee Hall.

Matavuso Kotobalavu is survived by his wife, daughter and son.

According to police six passengers were travelling from Moturiki to Levuka when their boat capsized on Thursday night.

Five passengers swam to safety while the 49 year old education counselor remains missing.
