As Fiji Water Flying Fijians Head Coach Simon Raiwalui gets ready to name his final 33-member squad for the Rugby World Cup this afternoon, fans are excited to see who will make the cut.

Raiwalui has done his homework in analysing each player’s performance over the last three games during the Punjas Pacific Battle Series and with the players that he will be announcing this afternoon is surely the best that he and his team of selectors have come up with.

One of the most anticipated positions that fans are looking forward is who will be chosen to fill the flyhalf’s position where we have veteran Ben Volavola and Swire Shipping Fijian Drua duo Calbe Muntz and Teti Tela.

With Tela and Volavola getting their first international run for the year 2023 last week against Japan, the duo played their hearts out to convince the selectors, while young Muntz has proven his worth against Tonga and Samoa, but time will tell when the announcement is made this afternoon.

It will also be interesting to find out who will be given the honor of leading the team to the RWC next month.

The team naming will be held at 3pm at the Tanoa International Hotel, Nadi.

Stay with us for updates.
