We will fight tooth and nail in the next election to protect our vision – Professor Prasad

We will fight tooth and nail in the next general election to protect the vision shared by Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka and himself, a vision rooted in the historic reforms led by Justice Jai Ram Reddy and Rabuka in 1997.

This was the sentiment shared by National Federation Party Leader Professor Biman Prasad while opening a new NFP office in Nadroga, emphasizing that this vision must not be derailed by unscrupulous and unethical individuals.

He says all citizens must unite under NFP and support the current government's agenda, stating that leadership may change over time, but the party and its guiding principles must endure.

Prof Prasad says leaders will come and go, each playing their role, but the strength of the party lies in its governance structure.

He also stressed that, as a political leader, he holds no decision-making power within the party organization itself, highlighting the NFP's commitment to democratic processes and internal accountability.

He concluded by reaffirming the NFP’s foundation on core universal values: organizational integrity, democratic governance, and responsiveness to the needs of its members and the public it serves.
