We have worked hard enough to not be pressured - Ikanivere

Swire Shipping Fijian Drua captain Tevita Ikanivere believes his team has worked hard enough throughout the pre-season to not be pressured as they gear up for their first home game against the Brumbies in round 1 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific today.

Ikanivere says the Brumbies worked hard to come to Fiji and the Drua has got the advantage over them.

He says the Brumbies are feeling the pressure and the Drua are looking forward to beating the Brumbies for the first time.

When asked about the mixture of new and experienced players in the squad, Ikanivere says they have been training together for weeks, and he feels the players have gelled well together and hopefully, the fans come and see for themselves this afternoon.

The Fijian Drua host the Brumbies at 3.35pm today at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
