Watch out for the surprise.
Those are the words of the Chairman of National Selectors Ilivasi Tabua as he said the Digicel Fiji Sevens team is going into this year’s World Cup with a lot of depth, speed, experience, positive attitude and enthusiasm.
Tabua said they have a major advantage with the likes of Napolioni Nalaga, Vilimoni Delasau, Jone Daunivucu, Neumi Nanuku, Apolosi Satala and Semisi Naevo returning with added skills and knowledge.
He said this will be a major surprise package for other coaches and it will definitely be a big headache for them.
Meanwhile, the Digicel Fiji Sevens team is expected to have the deadliest forward pack in this year's World Cup Sevens with France based, Napolioni Nalaga and England based, Apolosi Satala joining the team in Dubai.
Satala, who was an instrumental figure in Fiji's 2005 World Cup, had earlier said he is ready to represent Fiji again while 23-year-old Napolioni Nalaga is one of the most elusive wings in Europe.
Nalaga, who is the former Fiji Under 21 captain and hails from Nasama, Nadroga, is 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 220 pounds.
He is also the top try scorer in the French Top 14 competition and scored 3 tries in his last match before going to Dubai over the weekend.
Tabua said having possession is the key in rugby and with Naevo, Satala and Nalaga, it will be a major boost for the defending champions.
