Wardens Gold staged an impressive comeback to beat Police Blue 19-15 in Yalovata 7s final

Wardens Gold staged an impressive comeback in the second half to beat Tau Sports Police Blue 19-15 in the Fiji Bitter Yalovata 7s Men’s Cup Final in Nasau Park.

Police held a comfortable 15-0 lead at the break before Wardens scored three tries and two conversions in the second half to claim the title.

Wardens had the services of former Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s rep Josua Vakurunabili while Police had the services of Apenisa Cakaubalavu.

Both teams put on a show in the final for the fans with Wardens finishing strong.

Meanwhile, Village Boys defended their U21 title after defeating TEMC Birdland Brothers 7-5 in the final.

In the Women’s Cup Final, Wardens also claimed the title after beating BLK Caucau 15-0 in the final.
