Waqanicakau admitted in hospital with severe head injuries

Ba soccer team goalkeeper, Sanaila Waqanicakau is admitted in Lautoka Hospital with severe head injuries.

Waqanicakau collided with a Nadi player in the Digicel Premier League match yesterday which Ba won 4-1.

He was trying to save a shot when the incident occurred.

According to Ba officials, doctors have advised them that Waqanicakau will have to undergo lengthy rehabilitation.

Ba, Lautoka and Suva have 4 points each after two rounds of DPL but Ba is leading the points table with a better goal difference.

In other matches yesterday, Navua and Labasa drew 0-0, Rewa and Lautoka played out a 1-1 draw while Suva and Nadroga also drew 1-1.
