“Reverend Tuikilakila Waqairatu has not withdrawn from the Methodist Church elections tomorrow.”
That’s the statement from the Methodist Church assistant secretary Reverend Tevita Nawadra despite some reports that Reverend Waqairatu has withdrawn from the elections.
Reverend Nawadra said the reports are misleading.
Reverend Nawadra added Reverend Waqairatu can still stand in the elections.
Reverend Nawadra also said Reverend Manasa Lasaro and Reverend Laisiasa Ratabacaca have written and asked if they can be excused because of their age while Reverend Viliame Daunabuna pulled out due to medical reasons but he can come back once he is fully recovered.
The Methodist Church elections will be held tomorrow at the Centenary Church.
