Fiji born Suliasi Vunivalu will have to wait until at least 2021 to make his Wallabies debut after he was one of four squad members given an early release by coach Dave Rennie.

Vunivalu was rushed into the Wallabies squad earlier this month to speed up his rugby development.

Rennie said the try-scoring machine was always unlikely to make his debut this year but saw the benefit of upskilling him ahead of his arrival at the Reds.

Meanwhile, the All Blacks face Argentina at 8.45pm Saturday in the Tri-Nations.
