Vatican Pacific representative Archbishop Charles Balvo said Head of the Catholic church in Fiji Archbishop Petero Mataca has told him that his appointment as Co Chair of the Nationa Council for Building a Better Fiji is not a political appointment.
Speaking to ABC pacific beat Archbishop Charles Balvo said that's the reasons why he seeking more information from Mataca after Catholic church in Fiji are divided over his appointment
Archbishop Balvo said such precedence was been set in some Western African countries where Archbishop's have been appointed to head councils of a similar nature
