It was a great day for the new entrepreneurs, who are part of the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs Program, to showcase their art and craft and also their small business products in Suva.

Bush Bunny Crafts designer and creator, Courtney Underwood says she started her paper craft design during COVID-19 by making cake toppers and banners with other personalized items out of paper.

Underwood says she started her business from scratch and with innovative ideas she has expanded it into a successful business.

She also has a kids activities program collaboration with people on their lifestyle.

She is encouraging everyone to believe in their capabilities and follow their dreams.

United States Ambassador to Fiji, Marie Damour says this program supports and creates opportunities for women to be independent in financial generation.

Damour says this also contributes to sustainable economic development not only in Fiji but also around the world.

She says it is their plan as well to carry out this program in the maritime areas.
