The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s are through to the quarter finals of the HSBC Perth 7s and will play South Africa at 10.19 tonight after defeating New Zealand 33-5 in their final pool match this afternoon.

In other quarter finals, Uruguay will face Spain at 9.27 tonight, Argentina will meet Great Britain at 9.49 tonight, and France will take on Australia at 10.41 tonight.

Fiji started strong with two tries to Iowane Teba and Joji Nasova to help them lead 14-5 at halftime.

Pilipo Bukayaro, Vuiviawa Naduvalo and Terio Veilawa scored a try each in the second half to seal Fiji’s win.

Andrew Knewstubb scored New Zealand’s only try.

In other result, Kenya beat Uruguay 19-5, Great Britain thumped Ireland 17-0, France defeated Spain 21-7, Australia beat the USA 19-12 and Argentina beat South Africa 19-17.

The men’s semi finals will be at 7.05pm tomorrow, and the cup final will kick off at 11.35pm tomorrow.

The Fijiana will play Great Britain at 6.19 tonight.

The Women’s cup quarter finals will kick off at 12.02am tomorrow, the cup semi finals will start at 7.49pm tomorrow and the cup final will kick off at 12.11am Monday.
