After 20 years, Fiji was lucky to bear witness to the magic that is UB40 featuring Ali Campbell.

Thousands turned up at King Charles Park for the Big Love Tour, and had fans singing along and clapping after each song.

The set list featured songs mainly from the Labour of Love albums which Ali Campbell belted out as if he was still in his thirties, like One In Ten, Cherry Oh Baby, If It Happens Again, Homely Girl, Food for Thought, Maybe Tomorrow, Stick By Me, Come Back Darling, Please Don't Me Cry, Here I am (Come And Take Me) with Red Red Wine, Kingston Town and I Can't Help Falling In Love as encore songs.

People young and old connected to the music in a way that has never been seen before as some children got to see what the big deal was with the music that their parents played and why.

Reggae legends, Katchafire also did not disappoint as they kicked off the evening entertainment before UB40 featuring Ali Campbell took the stage.

During an interview with fijivillage News, Homecoming Festival and event organiser Moe Coffey says what will be next is the hottest question in town at the moment.

His answer to that is they are going to get through this one and then do a review and see whether it was worth all of the effort and what type of bands they can bring.
