Celebrations started early this morning for the family of Fiji Water Flying Fijians player Josua Tuisova as they witnessed their son create history when Fiji defeated the Wallabies 22-15 in their second Rugby World Cup match.

Speaking to fijivillage Sports in the i-Taukei language, Tuisova’s father Isikeli Ratulevu says they woke up early this morning to watch his son play against the Wallabies and it was a blessing for him and his wife to watch Josua play on the international stage.

He says Fiji played really well this morning and they showcased what Fijian rugby is all about.

Ratulevu says he is grateful to see his son score Fiji’s try this morning.

He urges the players to continue to lift their game as they have two more games left and continue to praise God in everything they do.

Tuisova was also named the Player of the Match.

The Flying Fijians will meet Georgia at 3.45am on the 1st of October.
