Tuinaviti remanded for $240k Shop N Save robbery

A man in his 30s who with the help of others allegedly stole more than $240,000 from supermarket employees during a bank run has been remanded by the Nasinu Magistrates Court.

Penijamini Tuinaviti appeared in a special sitting today.

He has been remanded till the 27th of this month where the bail ruling will be delivered.

The robbery was at Shop and Save in Nakasi earlier this month.

Tuinaviti is charged with one count of Aggravated Robbery.

Investigations continue into identifying others who were also allegedly involved.
