Tributes continue to flow in for Maikeli Radua

Tributes for the late VITIFM iconic personality Maikeli Radua continue to pour in from Fijians overseas, as they remember the voice they grew up listening to on the radio.

Despite being laid to rest at his village in Waikete, Tailevu over the weekend, people are still sending in videos with their messages as some families and Fijian communities overseas had small gatherings to remember the life of Radua.

Videos were sent in of people sitting around their grog bowls with Radua’s photo and the song attributed to him playing in the background.

Radua has left a mark on many people’s lives — especially those who grew up listening to his voice on the radio and the jokes that still linger in their minds.

Radua was one of the pioneers of VITIFM and worked with Communications Fiji Limited for almost 30 years.
