Top teams to battle for Coral Coast 7s glory

The pools for the McDonald’s Fiji’s Coral Coast 7s have been released with some top local and international teams participating in this year’s tournament.

Teams like Police, Wardens, Yamacia and Raiwasa Taveuni are expected to provide excitement in the men’s competition.

USA Falcons and Pacific Nomads 7’s are the two international teams that will be participating in this year’s tournament.

Pool A has defending champions Police, Wardens, McDonald’s Saunaka and Yamacia.

Pool B has Ratu Filise, Wadigi Salvo, Tuva Rugby and Pacific Nomads 7s, while Pool C has USA Falcons, Fire, Army and SRS Nukuvura.

Raiwasa Taveuni, Uluinakau, Vueti Cakau and ASM Nadro Stallions will battle it out in Pool D.

Meanwhile, there will also be three international teams participating in the Outrigger Youth Division which includes Japan Youth 7’s, Aussie Youth 7’s and Fiji U20s.

The Women’s pools will be released later today.

The ambassador for this year’s Coral Coast 7s tournament will be Kenya 7s rugby legend, Collins Injera.

The tournament will be held from next Thursday to Saturday.
