President, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere says the late Queen Elizabeth II’s wisdom and grace will continue to inspire generations across the world, in so many decades to come.

While speaking during the commemoration and thanksgiving service for the life of the late Queen, Ratu Wiliame says the Queen’s reign as well as her name has become synonymous with family, God and country.

He says Fiji, the late Queen with the royal family have shared many good memories during her reign.

Ratu Wiliame adds, that throughout her life, the late Queen personified service, became a symbol of stability and steadfast patriotism.

Ratu Wiliame also says she was indeed the stronghold of the royal family, who was loved by her family, the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.

The commemoration service was also attended by the Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, Prime Minister’s wife, Mary Bainimarama, Speaker Ratu Epeli Nailatikau, the Chief Justice and other cabinet ministers and dignitaries.
