Telecom Fiji’s $200,000 donation to help rebuild Lekutu Secondary School

Some good news for students of Lekutu Secondary School as the $200,000 donated by Telecom Fiji Limited will be used to rebuild their school.

The school had suffered extensive damages due to TC Yasa last month.

Minister for Education Rosy Akbar says 21 of the 30 schools that needs rehabilitation has been completed.

Telecom Fiji’s CEO, Charles Goundar says they are glad that their contribution will help in the rebuilding efforts.

Goundar says they will also provide free internet services to 20 of the most severely affected schools in the North and they will be making the announcement soon.
