Telecom Fiji launches NetSafe cybersecurity service in partnership with Allot

Telecom Fiji has launched NetSafe which provides always-on protection against online threats while also offering content filtering, giving businesses and households peace of mind in today’s increasingly connected world.

They say this is their new networkbased cybersecurity service delivered in partnership with global technology leader Allot.

Telecom Fiji says with security embedded directly into the network, customers can enjoy seamless protection without the need for additional software or complex installations.

They say the official launch is a milestone that underscores the growing importance of merging fiber connectivity with cybersecurity, ensuring that Fiji not only leads in digital infrastructure but also in creating a safe and secure online environment.

Telecom Fiji CEO, Charles Goundar says this partnership marks a significant step forward in strengthening Fiji’s cybersecurity posture.

He says through this platform, Telecom can offer unified and managed cybersecurity solutions that operate seamlessly at the network level, providing businesses an additional layer of protection against any threats.

Goundar says their partnership with Allot enables them to provide businesses with a robust and reliable cybersecurity solution, ensuring their operations and data remain protected against a wide range of cyber threats.

The CEO says this initiative underscores their commitment to fostering a secure digital environment in Fiji.

Dr. Weiming Li, Vice President Sales APAC, Allot says they are excited to partner with Telecom Fiji to bring Allot Secure to Fijian businesses and communities.

Dr. Li says their network-based threat protection solution is designed to offer seamless and comprehensive security, enabling businesses to operate with confidence and resilience in the face of increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.

Dr. Li says also says NetSafe safeguards businesses from a comprehensive range of cyber threats, including malware attacks that disrupt operations or compromise systems, ransomware that encrypts critical data and demands payment for decryption, phishing attempts aimed at stealing login credentials and personal information, and malicious websites that can infect devices or attempt to steal sensitive data.

Telecom Fiji further says this partnership between with Allot signifies a strong commitment to fostering a secure and thriving digital environment in Fiji.

They add by offering NetSafe, Telecom Fiji empowers businesses and households to embrace the digital world with confidence, safeguarding valuable data and ensuring a secure user experience across the country.
