Border 2, one of the most anticipated war films of 2026, is set to launch its official announcement video on 15th August.

Times Now says starring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahaan Shetty, Border 2 brings back the iconic character of Major Kuldip Singh, with Sunny Deol reprising the role that became a national favourite back in 1997.

They say that the film has just wrapped up shooting, and according to sources, a special one-minute teaser will be released on India’s Independence Day.

The teaser will highlight the core theme of the film – the India–Pakistan conflict during the 1971 war.

A key highlight of the film will be the return of the legendary song "Sandese Aate Hai", this time sung by Sonu Nigam and Arijit Singh.

The film is expected to be released on 26th January next year.
