Team Fiji records win in Fiji Men’s hockey and touch rugby side early today

Team Fiji started day 2 of the second week of the 2023 Pacific Games competitions with two wins in different sports this morning.

The Fiji Men’s hockey side defeated Samoa 6-2 in their first game after leading 2-1 at halftime.

Fiji will play Tonga in their second match at 2.30pm today.

They will then play Vanuatu at 1.40pm tomorrow before playing Solomon Islands at 5.50pm tomorrow in their fourth match.

They will play their last match against PNG at 9.30am on Thursday.

The semi final will be at 3.20pm Thursday and the final will be at 2.10pm Friday.

Team Fiji also recorded a win in the Touch Rugby competition as the Fiji Men’s Touch side beat Solomon Islands 12-4 this morning in their third match.

Fiji will play Papua New Guinea at 1.40pm today before playing Niue at 5pm this afternoon.

They will play their final round-robin match against the Cook Islands at 9.30am tomorrow.
