Team Fiji receives bottled water from Fijian Community in Honiara

Support keeps flowing in for Team Fiji at the Pacific Games 2023 from the Fijian Community in Honiara.

The team was paid a visit this morning by the president of the Fijian Community Kata Ziru with donations of bottled water to help keep our athletes hydrated in the scorching heat in the Capital City.

Team Fiji will be featuring in 10 different competitions today including archery, basketball, football, rugby league 9s, sailing, swimming, table tennis, tennis, volleyball and weightlifting.

Meanwhile, Fiji is in 12th place on the Pacific Games medal tally with 1 silver and 1 bronze.

New Caledonia is leading the tally with 8 gold, 7 silver and 8 bronze while Solomon Islands is in second place with 5 gold, 8 silver and 4 bronze.
