Talks continue on inspection of containers
As the border control agencies continue efforts to increase security at the ports of entry, Fiji Ports Cooperation Limited still faces major obstacles in trying to ensure that all freight and containers coming into the country are thoroughly checked.

Board Chairman Semi Koroilavesau told Village news that the issue of checking each container brought into the country is important to protect our ports from being used for illegal activities.

However, he said the issue of contention is the cost factor which will arise from carrying out the exercise.
