As Tropical Cyclone Rae is on its way out of the country, people should continue to brace for more rain as a trough of low pressure associated with Tropical Cyclone Seru is now affecting the country.

The Nadi Weather Office says TC Seru is about 760km West of Yasawa-i-Ra and is moving South South East at about 9.3km per hour and will not directly impact the country.

They say however, the convergence zone associated with TC Seru is affecting the country.

A heavy rain warning remains in force for the whole of Fiji while a flash flood warning remains for all small streams and low lying flash flood prone areas of Fiji.

Meanwhile, Category 2 Tropical Cyclone Rae lies to the South of Fiji waters and is moving away from the group.

Strong to gale force winds continue to affect the Southern Lau Group.
