The donation agreement signed today by Aruka Fiji and Swire Shipping Services marked a significant milestone in their commitment to fostering positive change and supporting the values they serve, reaching the unreached, teaching the untaught, and motivating the untouched to embrace compassion.

This was shared by Alex Pattison the General Manager Pacific for Swire Shipping at the Aruka head office in Tamavua.

Pattison says their partnership with Aruka Fiji encompasses three transformative projects which include the basic literacy training program for street minors and juvenile offenders, the empowerment and inclusion capacity building training project, and the evening clinic focused on sexual health and substance abuse awareness.

He says each of these initiatives is designed to address critical needs and create lasting impact.

Pattison says their partnership with Aruka Fiji is a testament to Swire Shipping's dedication to making a positive difference, transforming lives, empowering communities, and building a brighter future for all.

Ratu Inoke Drauna who is the founder of Aruka Fiji - an organization that is self-funded to look after the struggling people on the streets says today's donation agreement.

Drauna says the donation would be instrumental in sustaining their programs, particularly in providing for the welfare of disadvantaged children who depend on Aruka Fiji’s services.
