After winning the 2022 Digicel Fiji FACT title, the focus for Ram’s Cleaning Services/All Freight Logistics Suva team remains to make a clean sweep this season.

Team President Ritesh Pratap has also confirmed their players will share the $17,000 prize money.

After winning the 2022 Digicel Fiji FACT title, the focus for Ram’s Cleaning Services/All Freight Logistics Suva team remains to make a clean sweep this season.

Team President Ritesh Pratap has also confirmed their players will share the $17,000 prize money.

Pratap says the players have sacrificed a lot and given everything so it is their turn to give them what they deserve.

He says at the moment they have not decided on any major celebration but will host players and families for a treat.




Suva tame Lions to retain FACT title

The Rams Cleaning Services / All Freight Logistics Suva has retained the Digicel Fiji FACT after beating 4R Electrical Labasa 2-0 in the final at Lawaqa Park this afternoon.

Malakai Rakula gave Suva the lead in the first half with a sublime free kick as they led 1-0 at the break.

Samuela Drudru who started on the bench doubled Suva’s lead in the second half.

However Drudru was sent off minutes after scoring.

Suva ended the match with 9-men as Anish Khem was given his marching orders in the 89th minute.

Suva has received $17,000 while Labasa has been given $5,000.

Good news for Suva fans as national rep Anish Khem will be back for their semifinal clash against Lautoka in the Digicel Fiji FACT tomorrow.

Khem did not play in the pool matches as he was recovering from a surgery.

Coach, Babs Khan says they know Lautoka will not be an easy team to beat but they will do their homework to defend the title.

Suva has not lost any match so far this season and Khan says they want to keep their record.

Suva will take on Lautoka in the second semifinal at 5pm tomorrow while Labasa plays Ba at 2.30pm in the first semifinal at Lawaqa Park.

The final will be played at 3pm Sunday.

Lautoka out to win first FACT title in 20 years

The Baker’s Fresh Biscuit Crackers Lautoka soccer team will looking to break its 20-year drought in the Digicel Fiji FACT this weekend.

Lautoka last won the title in 2000 when they beat Nadroga 2-0 in the final.

Coach, Anginesh Prasad says their loss against Navua in their last pool match will not diminish the morale of the team.

Prasad says they will be working on their game plan to counter Suva in the semifinal who have a number of experienced players.

Lautoka will take on Suva in the second semifinal at 5pm this Saturday while Labasa plays Ba at 2.30pm in the first semifinal at Lawaqa Park.

The final will be played at 3pm Sunday.

The Suva soccer team are working on their finishing and set pieces as they prepare to take on Lautoka in the semifinal of the Digicel Fiji FACT this weekend.

President, Ritesh Pratap says as defending champions they are not taking on any pressure on themselves.

He says all players have stood out and the coaching team has been particularly impressed by their discipline on and off the field.

Pratap adds they used their last group match against Nadroga to look at their combination and set pieces.

In semifinals this Saturday at Lawaqa Park, Suva takes on Lautoka at 5pm while Labasa will take on Ba at 2.30pm.

The final is on Sunday.

R.C Manubhai Ba will take on 4R Electrical Labasa while Rams Cleaning Services/All Freight Logistics Suva will face Baker's Fresh Breakfast Crackers Lautoka in the semifinals of the Digicel Fiji FACT.

Labasa and Suva have topped their respective groups while Ba and Lautoka have finished second.

In the last round of pool matches today, Labasa defeated Nadi 2-0, Navua beat Lautoka 2-1, Ba thumped Nasinu 6-1 while Nadroga and Suva drew 2-2.

The semis will be played on Saturday while the final will be played on Sunday at Lawaqa Park.

Ba thumps Nasinu 6-1 to keep their Fiji FACT semifinal hopes alive

R. C. Manubhai Ba has thumped Nasinu 6-1 in the Digicel Fiji FACT to keep their hopes of reaching the semi-finals alive.

Ba scored 3 goal within the first 15 minutes of the match through Etonia Dogalau, Nabil Begg and Saula Waqa.

Kini Madigi, Narend Rao and Emosai Navaba scored the other goals for the Men in Black.

Jasnit Vikash scored the lone goal for Nasinu.

Ba led 5-0 at half time.

With 7 points, they now await the result of the Nadroga-Suva match while Nasinu exits the tournament with four losses.

Navua defeated Lautoka 2-1.

Lautoka has already qualified for the semifinals while Navua is out of the tournament.

In other matches, Nadroga will host Suva at 6pm while Nadi will take on Labasa at 8pm.



Lautoka and Suva through to Fiji FACT semifinals

Lautoka and Suva are the first two teams to qualify for the semifinals of the Digicel Fiji FACT at Lawaqa Park.

Aporosa Yada scored an 83rd minute goal for Lautoka as they beat Rewa 1-0.

Labasa also beat Navua 2-1 to send Navua and Rewa out of the tournament.

Ratu Anare and Iliesa Lino scored a goal each for Labasa.

In other matches yesterday, Ba beat Tailevu Naitasiri 2-1 and Nadroga beat Nasinu 2-0.

In matches today, Ba takes on Nasinu at 2pm, Navua takes on Lautoka at 4pm, Nadroga hosts Suva at 6pm and Nadi takes on Labasa at 8pm.

The semifinals will be played next Saturday while the final is on Sunday.



Navua exits Fiji FACT after going down 2-1 against Labasa

Koromakawa Rentals and Tours Navua is the first team to exit the Digicel Fiji FACT after going down 2-1 against the 4R Electric Labasa.

Ratu Anare and Iliesa Lino scored a goal each for Labasa.

An 88th minute goal by Joseph Elder was not enough for Navua.

Labasa has now won 2 of their three matches.

They take on Nadi in their last group match tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Ba and Tailevu Naitasiri are tied nil all in the first half.

In other matches today, Nadroga takes on Nasinu at 6pm while Lautoka faces Rewa at 8pm.



10 men Ba fights back to draw against Nadroga

The R.C. Manubhai Ba team survived a major scare as they were held 1-all by Cambridge Farms Limited Nadroga in the Digicel Fiji FACT.

Nadroga captain Tomasi Tuicakau got their goal in the first minute of the match to stun Ba.

Ba defender Peceli Sukabula was red carded just before half time.

Praneel Naidu’s long range free kick was misjudged by Nadroga goalkeeper which led to the equaliser.

In other matches today, Suva edged Tailevu/Naitasiri 1-0, Lautoka beat Labasa 2-1 and Rewa and Nadi match ended in a 2-all draw



Sahib leads Lautoka to victory

Veteran midfielder Zibraaz Sahib scored the winner as Baker's Fresh Breakfast Crackers Lautoka side beat 4R Electric Labasa 2-1 in the Digicel Fiji FACT.

Kolinio Sivoki scored the other goal for Lautoka.

This was Lautoka’s second win as they had beaten Nadi last night.

In an earlier match today, Rams Cleaning Services / All Freight Logistics Suva edged Security Systems Management Tailevu Naitasiri 1-0.

Suva has won all three of their matches so far.



Tuivuna scores twice as Lautoka edges Nadi 2-1 in Fiji FACT

National defender Antonio Tuivuna scored twice as the Lautoka soccer team edged Nadi 2-1 in their first match of the Digicel Fiji FACT this evening.

Tuivuna scored both goals in the second half.

Rahul Krishna scored the only goal for Nadi in the 88th minute.

In other matches today, Suva thrashed Nasinu 3-0, Navua held Rewa 1-1 while Nadroga and Tailevu Naitasiri played out a 1-1 draw.

In tomorrow's matches, Suva takes on Tailevu Naitasiri at 12pm, Labasa takes on Lautoka at 2pm, Nadi plays Rewa at 4.30pm while Nadroga hosts Ba at 6.30pm.



Suva thrash Nasinu 3-0 to lead Pool B

Defending champions Rams Cleaning Services/All Freight Logistics Suva has maintained its good start in the Digicel Fiji FACT after thrashing Nasinu 3-0 this afternoon.

Malaki Rakula, Waisake Navunigasau and Samuela Drudru scored the goals for Suva.

Suva is now leading Pool B with 6 points.

In the first match today, Glamada Investments Rewa were held 1-1 by Koromakawa Rentals Navua.

Setareki Hughes gave Rewa the early lead however Arami Manumanubhai equalized for Navua soon after.

The Glamada Investments Rewa soccer team remain winless in the Digicel Fiji FACT after being held 1-1 by Koromakawa Rentals Navua a while ago.

Setareki Hughes gave Rewa the early lead however Arami Manumanubhai equalized for Navua soon after.

Both sides suffered losses in the opening round.



Nadi working on consistency after beating Navua on opening day

The All in One Builders Nadi soccer team will be working on their consistency after beating Navua 4-2 in their opening match of the Digicel Fiji FACT last Sunday.

Coach Kamal Swamy says it is good to start the tournament with a win but it is never okay when you concede goals.

Swamy says they have to prepare well because the next 3 matches against Rewa, Lautoka and Labasa will be tough.

Nadi takes on Lautoka at 7 tonight at Lawaqa Park.

In other matches today, Rewa takes on Navua at 1pm, Suva plays Nasinu at 3pm while Nadroga hosts Tailevu Naitasiri at 5pm.



Nalaubu looking to maintain goal scoring form ahead of Fiji FACT opener

National striker Sairusi Nalaubu will be looking to continue his impressive goal scoring form as Lautoka prepares to play its first match in the Digicel Fiji FACT this Thursday.

Nalaubu has so far scored 9 goals in the Digicel Premier League this season.

He also scored twice against New Caledonia in the Oceania World Cup Qualifiers in Qatar.

Speaking to Legend FM News, Nalaubu says they are in a really tough pool but the team understands the task at hand.

Nalaubu says they have prepared well and are looking forward to the match against neighbours Nadi.

Lautoka who were on a bye in the first round will play Nadi at 7pm tomorrow at Lawaqa Park.

In other matches on Thursday, Rewa takes on Navua at 1pm, Suva plays Nasinu at 3pm while Nadroga hosts Tailevu Naitasiri at 5pm.

Wasasala double sees Labasa stun Rewa in injury time

Christopher Wasasala was the hero for the Labasa soccer team as they beat a star studded Rewa by 2-1 in the Digicel Fiji FACT at the ANZ Stadium.

Wasasala gave Labasa the lead in the first half before Setareki Hughes equalised for Rewa.

Both sides were locked 1-1 at half time.

Wasasala then scored the winning goal in injury time to send thousands of Labasa fans into a frenzy.

Labasa is in second place in Pool B while Nadi is first after beating Navua 4-2.

In other matches, Suva edged Ba 1-0 while Tailevu Naitasiri beat Nasinu 2-1.

Simione Nabenu scored the winning goal for Suva.

The tournament will resume at Lawaqa Park on Thursday.

Nabenu haunts former side Ba in Fiji FACT

The Suva soccer team has edged Ba 1-0 in the first round of the Digicel Fiji FACT at the ANZ Stadium.

Former Ba rep, Simione Nabenu scored the winning goal for Suva in the second half.

Suva and Tailevu Naitasiri are now level on 3 points in Pool A however Tailevu Naitasiri is leading based on goal forward.

Tailevu Naitasiri defeated Nasinu 2-1 in the first match.

In another match today, Nadi beat Navua 4-2.

The Rewa and Labasa match is underway in the first half.



Tuwai spotted amongst Rewa fans at Digicel Fiji FACT

Olympic gold medalist, Jerry Tuwai was spotted amongst Rewa fans at the Digicel Fiji FACT at the ANZ Stadium this afternoon.

Soccer fans were excited to see Tuwai in the grandstand and they even cheered for their rugby hero.

Tuwai did not travel with the Fiji Airways Men’s 7s side to Toulouse as he was not well and this hindered his preparation in the beginning of the camp.



Nadi beats Navua 4-2 in Day 1 of Fiji FACT

The Nadi soccer team has beaten Navua 4-2 in the second match of the Digicel Fiji FACT at the ANZ Stadium.

Goals from Barrie Limoki and Eshan Kumar saw Nadi lead 2-0 at the break.

Tuiba Batiratu added the 3rd in the second half before goals from Isake Naduvu and Brian Charitar brought Navua back into the match.

Jaygray Sipakana scored in injury time to seal the win for Nadi.

In an earlier match, Tailevu Naitasiri beat Nasinu 2-1.

Suva is currently playing Ba while Rewa will take on Labasa at 5pm.

Tailevu Naitasiri edge Nasinu 2-1 in the Fiji FACT

Abhishek Deo scored the winning goal in the 90th minute for Tailevu Naitasiri as the side edged Nasinu 2-1 in the first match of the Digicel Fiji FACT at the ANZ Stadium.

Epeli Valevou scored the other goal for Tailevu Naitasiri in the first half.

Nasoni Mereke scored the lone goal for Nasinu.

In other matches, Navua will take on Nadi at 1pm, Suva will play Ba at 3pm while Rewa takes on Labasa at 5pm.

Unbeaten Suva and Rewa hot favourites for Fiji FACT

The Suva and Rewa soccer teams will be heading into the Digicel Fiji FACT as hot favourites after remaining unbeaten in the Digicel Premier League so far.

Defending champions, Suva who host Ba in their opening match has won 7 of their 9 matches so far this season.

They will be relying on a number of national and experienced players such as Akuila Mateisuva, Remueru Takiate, Filipe Baravilala, Merril Nand, Inoke Turagalailai and Anish Khem.

Rewa on the other hand has named 5 players in their squad who were part of the National side for the Oceania World Cup Qualifiers in Qatar.

They are Mohammed Alam, Patrick Joseph, Kishan Sami, Setareki Hughes and Tevita Waranivalu.

The tournament kicks off at the ANZ Stadium at 11am today where Tailevu Naitasiri will take on Nasinu, Nadi will play Navua at 1pm, Ba plays Suva at 3pm, while Rewa will take on Labasa at 5pm.

Glamada provides sponsorship to Rewa for Digicel Fiji FACT

The Rewa soccer team has received timely boost ahead of the Digicel Fiji FACT as Glamada Investments has come on board to provide sponsorship.

The side will now be known as Glamada Rewa in the tournament.

Glamada has provided an initial sponsorship with additional bonus promised should Rewa win the tournament.

The much needed funds will go into preparing the team.

Rewa’s President Nazeel Buksh says they will try to do their best and make the sponsors proud.

Buksh says the team has been preparing well for their first match against Labasa tomorrow and fans can definitely expect fireworks.

Director of Glamada Investments Pte Limited, Navnita Neelam Kumar says Glamada is delighted to share this platform with Rewa Football and it is one of the key values of Glamada as a company to encourage development of sports.

She says they hope this sponsorship will motivate Rewa to show some magic at tournament.

Rewa will play Labasa at 5pm tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium.

In other matches tomorrow, Tailevu Naitasiri takes on Nasinu at 11am, Nadi will play Navua at 1pm while Ba plays Suva at 3pm.



Rewa, Lautoka, Nadi and Labasa drawn in Pool A for Fiji FACT

The Rewa, Lautoka, Nadi, Labasa and Navua soccer teams have been drawn in the group of death for the Digicel Fiji FACT which kicks off later this month.

Defending champions Suva are in Pool B with Ba, Nadroga, Tailevu Naitasiri and Nasinu.

The winner of the tournament will get $17,000 while the runner up receives $5,000.

The First round of pool games will be held at the ANZ Stadium on the 22nd of this month while the rest of the pool matches will be played from the 26th to the 29th at Lawaqa Park.

Both semifinals and final will be held at Lawaqa Park on the 4th and 5th of June.

Lawaqa Park will be hosting a local major soccer tournament for the first time in 21 years.
