Suva lawyer Shazran Abdul Lateef who has been charged with one count of possession of illicit drugs will take his plea on the 2nd of next month.
The matter was listed for plea today however defence lawyer, Devanesh Sharma has sought time to make representation to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
It is alleged that Lateef was found in possession of 0.0136 grams of methamphetamine on the 7th of last month.
