Surgeons from Australia provide medical equipment to CWM Hospital

Services at the CWM Hospital are expected to be boosted after some surgeons from Australia brought equipment from Austin Health and Monash Health in Melbourne to assist the staff at the hospital.

Surgeons Dr Airi Arachchi and Dr Andrew Bui are conducting cases and teaching the surgeons at CWM Hospital, and they have also established a program to improve expertise at the hospital by bringing Fijian surgeons to Australia for further training.

Meanwhile, Dr Roy and Dr Binura Lekamalage from New Zealand are providing engaging entertainment and support for the outreach services.
