The Colo Bridge in Seaqaqa is flooded and people living around the Navudi, Navai, Vunivere and Rokosalate areas have not been able to go to work and school from yesterday.

60-year-old Davendra Prasad has informed fijivillage News that the bridge was under water again from around 1 this morning.

Meanwhile, a Flash Flood Warning remains in force for all low-lying, flash flood prone areas and small streams of Vanua Levu and parts of Viti Levu including Naitasiri Province, Tailevu through Rakiraki, Tavua, Ba and Lautoka

The Nadi Weather Office says a Heavy Rain Warning remains in force for the Northern Division, Yasawa, Lau and Lomaiviti groups.

They say an active trough of low pressure with an embedded low pressure system lies over the eastern parts of the group which is associated with cloud, showers and rain.

The Weather Office says the trough of low pressure is expected to affect the Eastern parts of Fiji till later tonight.
