It’s time again for the country’s students to share their messages through art, song and dance as less than a month remains for the 2011 Tadra Kahani.
A total of 16 schools will feature in this year’s Tadra Kahani as it was officially launched this morning with internet service provider company Connect as the official sponsor of the event.
Total Event Company Manager Loretta Jackson said as the dream story stage show marks its 16th year, over 100 schools have taken part since 1995.
Jackson said Tadra Kahani has been an effective platform for students to convey issues that they are passionate about.
Meanwhile, Connect General Manager David Eyre, who handed over a cheque of $30,000, said they support the development of the youth in the country through such initiatives.
At the moment, defending champion Lomary Secondary School, Saint Thomas High School, International School Suva, Suva Grammar School, Cathedral Secondary, Sila Central High, Dilkusha Methodist High School, Ratu Sir Lala Sukuna Memorial School, Marist Champagnat School are confirmed for the Senior Division.
In the Junior Division, defending champions International School Suva, John Wesley Primary School, Marcellin Primary School, International School Nadi, St Agnes Primary, Tacirua Primary and Rishikul Primary School will be taking part.
Tadra Kahani will be held on August 18th.
