Storm warning remains for outer islands
A Tropical Cyclone storm warning remains in force for Vatulele, Beqa, Kadavu, Moala and nearby smaller islands as the eye of Tropical Cyclone Mick drifts further away from Viti Levu.

A gale force warning is in force for Lomaiviti and the Lau group while a strong wind warning remains in force for the rest of the Fiji group.

For Vatulele, Beqa, Kadavu and Moala group and nearby islands, destructive storm force winds with average speeds of 90 to 100km per hour with momentary gusts to 150km per hour are expected.

Nadi Weather Office Director Rajendra Prasad said while the cyclone is moving away, the prospects of flooding in Navua and Rewa river would remain over the next 8 hours.
