The Melbourne Storm will return to the Sunshine Coast rather than Melbourne after tomorrow’s clash in Brisbane to minimise the impact of Victoria's latest COVID-19 outbreak on the NRL.

Melbourne's decision to extend their stay comes on the advice of the NRL's biosecurity experts after six new cases were reported by the Victorian government, taking the recent cluster numbers to 15 in Melbourne and 23 in the state.

The Melbourne Storm will face the Brisbane Broncos at 9.50pm tomorrow.
