The Interim Prime Minister has today called on Fiji Womens Crisis Centre Coordinator Shamima Ali to stop insulting the nation's President.
Commodore Frank Bainimarama said public comments by Ali that President Ratu Josefa Iloilo is not making any decisions and is being used by the military is totally misleading and disrespectful.
Bainimarama also calls on everyone in the country to respect the highest office of the land.
The military has also raised concern over the statement made by Shamima Ali questioning President Ratu Josefa Iloilo's ability to make decisions and saying that he is tired and ready to retire.
However, Shamima Ali said they have received reports that Ratu Josefa was not in a position to be making decisions he was said to be making and he should take on a more active role in what is happening in the country, instead of sending out messages with his signature for people like the Interim Attorney General to read out.
