Sports play a powerful role in fostering resilience and confidence in youths – Miss Nasinu 2024 Viniana Marawa

Sports plays a powerful role in fostering resilience and confidence, particularly in youths and it also reminds us that when facing challenges, we stand as one, both as a community and as a nation.

This was highlighted by Miss Nasinu 2024, Vinaina Marawa, who was the keynote speaker at the opening of the Nakasi Volleyball Tournament today.

Marawa says experiences like this also reminds young people that they are being part of something bigger than themselves.

Marawa hopes the tournament will encourage the youth of Nakasi to support one another, building a sense of unity as they face life's challenges with a balanced perspective.

There were a total of 32 teams that participated in the Nakasi Volleyball Tournament.

The tournament was organised by the Minister for Women, Children, and Poverty Alleviation, Lynda Tubuya.
