Soli wins 2nd gold in senior girls 200m final

Dawasamu Secondary School sprinter, Vetinia Soli have won her second gold medal at Coca-Cola Tailevu Zone after winning the senior girls 200 metres final.

The 18-year-old says she was happy with her performance today and she is looking forward to the Coca-Cola Games where she will be competing against some of the best athletes from other schools around the country.

Soli says preparations was not easy leading up to this competition but she was happy she managed to pull through.

She says she is also looking forward to running against MGM High School sprinter Kesaia Boletakanakadavu, who won the Coca-Cola Games senior girls 100 metres last year.

Soli also won the senior girls blue ribbon event yesterday.

Nainasa Randall of Naiyala High School settled for silver while Akanisi Gasai of Tailevu North College won bronze.
