Fiji Airways National 7s coach Ben Gollings has today confirmed that France based Sireli Maqala will not be part of the team for the Rugby World Cup Sevens due to visa issues.
Maqala was initially named in the 13-member squad and was supposed to join the camp this week in preparation for the World Cup.
His South African visa was delayed and has forced Gollings to make this decision.
Gollings says this will not hinder the teams preparations.
Fiji will begin their campaign in the Round of 16 against the winner of Wales and Korea at 4.05am Saturday.
If Fiji wins, they will qualify for the quarter-finals.
