A 28 year old single mother from Sigatoka has been charged with infanticide for allegedly burying her baby after giving birth last week.
She later surrendered herself at the Sigatoka police station.
Director CID Vakacegu Toduadua said that the woman is still in police custody and she is expected to appear in the Sigatoka Magistrates Court on Monday.
