Another passenger who was in critical condition at the Lautoka Hospital after the tragic road accident involving a Grace Farm truck, a private mini bus and a SUV in Nabou, Nadroga last Saturday, passed away earlier today.
Police confirm that 17-year-old Josevati Saukuru, a Year 12 student at Ratu Navula College is the seventh victim of this accident.
Saukuru was from Sikituru Village in Nadi.
When questioned by Fijivillage, Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said that the investigation on what caused the road accident is still ongoing.
She adds that the post mortem was conducted yesterday and all deaths have been confirmed as a result of injuries sustained during the accident.
Six lives were lost on Saturday, six people are still admitted at the hospital while two boys have been discharged.
