Sevens maestro Waisale Serevi is proud of his daughter Asinate Serevi’s achievement at the Women's Rugby World Cup

Sevens maestro Waisale Serevi is proud of his daughter Asinate Serevi after she received her participation medal for the Women's Rugby World Cup, and World Cup cap, the bonus is leading our Fijiana.

Serevi highlighted in a post on his Facebook page saying how proud he is of his daughter's achievement.

He says he was once asked by Asinate what is the biggest event in World Rugby, he responded and said that it's World Cup.

He says World Rugby always recognizes players who play in the event.

Serevi also highlighted that the ups and downs of her journey, perseverance and hard work have paid off with God's guidance and protection.

Meanwhile, the Fijiana are back in training to prepare for their last pool match against France and hoping to secure a win and a quarter-final spot.

The Fijiana will take on France at 6.15pm Saturday.
