This is the sentiment of Save the Children Fiji Chief Executive Officer, Chandra Shekhar as we approach the new education year.
Shekhar said that some people get so involved in festivities that they spend all their money and when it comes to buying of school items, assistance is then sought from others.
Shekhar is also urging parents to be mindful of their children’s activities during this festive season whether it be at home or out for a picnic.
