As Year 13 external exams begin tomorrow, parents and guardians have been urged to support their children and provide them with essential teaching and learning tools.

This has been highlighted by Shree Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha President, Dhirendra Nand while speaking during the post Diwali celebration at the Lautoka Girmit Centre last night.

He also sought blessings from goddess Sarawati to guide all Year 13 students.

Nand adds students should be in the best state of their mind while doing exams.

He also shared that all Sanatan Dharm followers should unite and embrace one another for the future.

The Sanatan Sabha says that during the day, Sanatan Nari Sabha members held a Ramayan Sammelan to commemorate Diwali at Sanatan Nagar Kaamnath Shivaley Temple in Lautoka.

Sanatan National Secretary Pundit Krishneel Tiwari also expressed his appreciation to Naresh Chand of FNU and tabla players Samresh Rao for their long-standing contributions to teaching the Hindi language and cultural items to Hindu children.

The Sabha adds that special guests for the function were the residents of Golden Age Home who were hosted for special dinner and snacks while Life Care medical team provided free medical services to the participants and also raised awareness on cancer and reproductive health.
