Rewa soccer has received $20,000 from Fiji Football Association and major sponsor Digicel for the OFC Champions League in New Zealand next month.

While handing over the cheque to Rewa’s President, Nazeel Buksh, Fiji FA President, Rajesh Patel reminded them on what is at stake for the Delta Tigers.

Rewa will face nine-time winners Auckland City, most recent champions Hienghène Sport and Nikao Sokattak FC from Cook Islands in the group stages of the OFC Champions League.

Group A has AS Vénus, Galaxy FC, Lae City FC and Central Coast FC.

The group and knockout stages will be played in New Zealand next month.

The winners and runners-up from each group will face each other in the semi-finals. The winning team will get the chance to represent Oceania at the FIFA Club World Cup 2022.
